Texas has one of the fastest-growing tech economies in the nation but also some of the widest gaps in equitable STEM access. Many communities, especially rural, low-income, and military-connected regions, lack consistent STEM programming and mentorship opportunities.
Texas continues to experience deep and persistent STEM‑access disparities driven by geographic isolation, economic barriers, and unequal resource distribution across districts. These challenges most significantly impact girls, rural learners, low‑income families, and military‑connected youth—limiting their exposure to high‑quality STEM learning and mentorship opportunities.
Technovation helps close these gaps by providing free, accessible, and project‑based technology education that reaches students where they are and equips them with the skills needed to succeed.
Key Equity Gaps We’re Closing
Technovation Texas directly addresses these gaps by bringing free, high-quality
STEM education to students who need it most.
